A re-imagining of a pickup worthy of the Motherbucker^® name, the original Motherbuckers^® were 3-coil monsters that required a special route and mounting ring to be installed.  Today, there are two pickup models that bear the Motherbucker^® name and are made in the USA.

The Motherbucker^® 16k is a hot rodded overwound pickup powered by a fully charged Alnico 5 magnet.  Bright leads and aggressive distorted rhythms when used in the bridge, but can also be used in the neck when combined with the ultra-hot Motherbucker^® 20k in the bridge.

Like all Mighty Mite^® humbuckers, the Motherbucker^® 16k comes equipped with 4-conductor wiring for coil splitting and parallel options.

Installation 

If you are unfamiliar with the tools used to install these pickups; we suggest you contact a Luthier to install them.  Should the pickups get damaged during installation due to improper installation; warranty will be voided.
